Home screen, solar improvements and more
With this release, your home screen gives you a real-time overview of what’s happening in your home. If you have solar, the solar graph shows how much energy you’re generating compared with how much you’re using.

Your home summary
Open the app and you'll see a short summary at the top of the home screen showing how the house is doing right now.
It pulls together in real-time what you're using, whether your solar is generating, which way power is flowing to and from the grid, how many circuits are sitting in standby, and any safety event that needs your attention.
Note: On properties with more than one panel, the summary covers the whole property, not just the panel you're looking at.
Solar net view
The solar graph has a new Net view alongside Generation. Instead of showing what your panels made and leaving you to do the maths, it lays your generation over your usage for the period you're viewing.
Open Insights and select Solar from the menu. Choose Generation or Net to switch between views. Reopen the menu at the top of the graph to change views.

Export rates and GST in custom plans
You can now set your export rates for a custom energy plan, so the app knows what your retailer pays you for the power you send back — which makes your solar figures reflect what you're actually earning.
You can also tell the app whether the rates you've entered include GST, so your costs line up with your bill instead of sitting a few percent off.
Find both in Settings → Energy Plan → Manage.
Property-wide insights
If you've got more than one panel at a property, Insights and the insight cards now report the whole property rather than the panel you happen to be viewing in your home screen.
Panels you're not currently looking at also keep their live status and update badges, so you can see at a glance if one needs attention. And you can now switch between panels while a firmware update is running, instead of waiting it out.
