“Today we did a retrofit install of the Basis Board. Getting the panel into the wall was a bit of a learning curve with a retrofit, but once it was in it was really smooth and easy to terminate the cables, and it went a lot quicker than a standard switchboard. Would I put one in my own home? Definitely. It gives you all the info on your usage, which is really good to know, especially being an electrician.”

Daniel owns Hunter Electrical Ltd on Waiheke Island and specialises in residential work across all aspects. Today's job was a retrofit install of the Basis Board, fitting it into an existing wall rather than a new build.
What stood out
