You can now track events that need attention and view a history of past safety events grouped by type and circuit in the new Activity overview.

Open the Basis Home app and tap Activity. Any circuit that's currently tripped and off appears in the Needs attention section, along with the circuit it affects.

Tap an event to open its detail view, including the "What you can do" steps, so you know how to get things back to normal.

Note: Once the circuit is back on, the event clears from Needs attention and stays in your event history.

You can view the number of safety events that have occurred in your house since installing the panel in the Safety events It's a faster way to spot a pattern — like the same kind of trip happening more than once.

Events are grouped into:

• Shock protection (RCD)
• Overcurrent protection (MCB)
• Arc fault protection (AFDD)
• Overheating protection

In the Safety events breakdown, you can see the number of safety events that have occurred on different circuits throughout your home since the panel was installed.

Arc fault events are now shown across the app — in your activity feed, in your event log, and in circuit detail.

Arc fault protection watches for dangerous electrical arcing, the kind caused by a damaged cable or a loose connection, and shuts the circuit down before it can start a fire. Now you can see when it's stepped in, and on which circuit.
