Install and configure panels offline by downloading panel data before you're on-site. Certified electricians can now download panel data ahead of time and work on-site without needing mobile internet.

About Trade offline

• Trade Offline is available to Basis certified electricians only.
• Downloaded panel data expires after 48 hours, so plan your install accordingly.
• You'll receive a push notification 2 hours before your panel data expires, giving you time to re-download while you still have internet.
• While offline, some features are disabled — including account management, help portals, and site address/ICP lookup.

Before installation

Download the panel data while you still have internet access. To download a panel, enter its serial number by scanning the barcode on the physical panel box. Ensure you have access to the box before heading on-site. Alternatively, you can enter the serial number manually. Once downloaded, your panel data will be available offline for up to 48 hours.

Note: If your data expires, you can re-download it by adding the serial number again.

During installation

Perform your installation and configure the panel as usual. Remember that some features, such as account management, help portals, and entering the site address/ICP, will not be available.

Important: During installation, make sure your phone's Wi-Fi is turned on in Settings, even if you're not connected to a network. The panel will create a temporary Wi-Fi network that the app connects to automatically.

After installation

Keep the app running in the background to automatically sync your offline installation when you reconnect. Any bug reports or feedback submitted while offline will be sent automatically upon reconnection.

Note: If you force-quit the app without syncing the update, you will receive a notification to confirm whether you have completed the panel installation.
