On the install
Jordon is an electrician who self-installed his own Basis Board, adding it on top of an existing solar, battery and EV setup. His inverter and energy plan already gave him a whole-of-home view, but not what each individual circuit was actually doing.
What stood out
That circuit-level insight filled the gap his solar and battery hardware couldn't show. Jordon put his data rack on its own circuit just to keep an eye on it, and how much it pulled caught him off guard. He can now see exactly what the rack draws and break the rest of the house down circuit by circuit. Mid-renovation and adding a second battery stack, he's still building the full picture.
