Basis products and services are protected in multiple countries and regions by a range of registered and unregistered trademark rights.

The Basis™ brand, including our name, logo, and product and service identities, represents our commitment to quality and innovation. Below is a list of our registered, pending and unregistered trademarks, provided as notice of our global brand protection.

Basis Trademark List

In an effort to maintain our clean design aesthetic, we generally omit trademark symbols (® or ™) from our products and software, providing notice through this central repository instead.

The absence of a product or service name, logo, or feature from this list does not constitute a waiver of any intellectual property rights Basis has established in any of its marks.

The following list also includes a suggested generic term for each trademark (where applicable) for use by third parties referring to any of the Basis trademarks.

Guidelines for Third Parties

If you are a partner, reseller, or member of the press, please follow these core principles when referring to our brand:

• Adjective Use: Always use Basis trademarks as adjectives followed by a generic descriptor (e.g., "The Basis Smart Panel is intuitive," not "Basis is intuitive").
• No Variation: Do not shorten, pluralize, or abbreviate our trademarks.
• Attribution: Include the following credit line in all formal communications:Basis and the Basis logo are trademarks of Basis NZ Holdings Ltd, registered in various countries and regions.
