What we noticed
As soon as Ian connected Basis, the Insights view pointed straight at his two hot water cylinders. They were running almost constantly, heating water that a household of two simply wasn’t using.
What changed
With Control, Ian took charge of both cylinders, so they only heat when the water is actually needed rather than around the clock. He can also switch off lights remotely when they’re left on around the home. The result is lower bills and far less power wasted quietly in the background.
