What we noticed
Izak’s place isn’t a standard build. He has a large family home and a separate minor dwelling, both connected through one Basis system, with data and power running between them through the driveway. The whole build was designed around the Basis Board from the start. Izak wanted to see exactly how power moved between the two dwellings and across every appliance.
What changed
Circuit-level insight lets Izak monitor usage right across both dwellings and run the minor dwelling on its own circuit. He can see at a glance where the power is going. The data also let him check what his devices actually cost to run against the figures the manufacturers claimed. That was useful validation for a home built to be efficient from day one.
